He was predeceased by: his parents, Flemming Gardner and Rheda Gardner (Vaughn); and his brother Ben Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Karen; and his children, Jabe (Natalie) of Lansing, Andy of Holt, Cindy (Brian) of Williamston, Jeff (Penny) of North Carolina and Scott (Pat) of Lansing. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
