He was predeceased by: his father Elson "Skeeter"; his brothers, Wayne, Art and Bob; his brothers-in-law, Mike Barry and Mike Felgenhauer; and his nieces and nephews, Mark and Mickey.
He is survived by: his wife Karol; his sons, Mattheu Monroe (Julie), Chris Monroe and Patrick Monroe; his granddaughters, Kourtney Monroe and Annabelle Williams; his mother Betty; his siblings, Penny Monroe, Gayle Guillen (Tony), Rosemary Felgenhauer, Marilyn Ryder (Jim) and Bill Monroe; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Cramer and Danny Carpenter (Susan Wells). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Delta Chapel (6301 W St Joseph St, Lansing, MI 48917). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
