It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle B. Doyle (Lansing, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward "Edwin" and Bertha Busse (Zimmerman); her sisters, Carol and Myra; and her children-in-law, Lydia and Kevin.

She is survived by: her husband Raymond Doyle; her children, Michael Burtraw (Kathy), Jennifer Kirschner (Joseph), Cynthia Doyle, Sharon Smith, Peter Doyle and Susan Beers (Josh); and her grandchildren, Jessica (Jason), Lindsey (Kyle), Brandon (Jessica), Taylor (Adam), Austin, Michael, William, Paul and Allyson. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and beloved nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Pennway Church of God or Life Challenge of Michigan in Merle's memory.
