“I have known Matt since he dated my oldest daughter in high school. Matt was always so kind to my youngest daughter Ella. He came and spent some time with her. His smile was contagious. We kept in touch often. I considered and still consider him as a son to me. He will always be a brother to my daughter. My condolences to his family and his son. He was an amazing athlete, friend, "son", and brother. He will be missed. R.I.P until we meet again. Elaina Wallace”
