It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maryon Sowton of Lansing, Michigan, born in Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Sowton; her daughter Lisa Daman; her sister Ardith Banks; her brother-in-law Clarence "Pudge" Fauble; and her parents, Roland Jacobson and Opal Jacobson.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim (Stephanie) and Todd Sowton (Nicole); her sister Shirley Fauble; her son-in-law Tim Daman; and her grandchildren, Jason, Abby Daman, Camille Sowton, Olivia Sowton and Nylah Garza.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (1900 Boston Blvd, Lansing, MI 48910). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association will be greatly appreciated.
