It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jones of Lansing, Michigan, born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Amanda; and her siblings, James and Bernice. She is survived by: her children, Bart "Edward" Jones, Lamarr Jones, Paul Jones, Dell Jones and Melinda Jones; her daughter-in-law Malinda Jones-Vertrees (Bart "Edward" Jones); her sisters, Martha, Ethel, Charlene, Jerlene and Diane; and her grandchildren, Dellesia, Dezell, Cassell, Nidell, Kennethe, Nigel, Kameron and Christian. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association in Mae's memory in lieu of flowers.
