He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Goodwin; his sister Rose Marie Busch; his brothers-in-law, Donald Busch, Jim Crandall and Paul Williams; and his nephew Richard Lawrence.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bonnie Crandall, Alvin Goodwin (Barb), Sandra Goodwin, Bruce Goodwin, Pamela Williams, Doreen Lyman and Cora Jones (Richard); and his cousin Karen Mikulcik.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greater Lansing Food Bank in memory of Martis.
