She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Martha Merle Bibbs; her parents, Lawson Barnes and Alice Vashti Barnes; her children, Anthony Bibbs, Andrew Wells-Bibbs (Daphne), Diana Bibbs, Tanya Wells, Kevin Bibbs and Jim; her husband Coach Jim Bibbs; her nephew Ron Hicks; and her siblings, Wilma Hicks and Russell Barnes (Eloise). She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
