She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ashley and Mildred Ashley (Box); and her son James Douglas Green. She is survived by: her husband Larry Green; her daughter Angela Porter (Duane); her grandchildren, Alexa Benz (Christopher), Madison Eldred, Zachary Eldred, Hazel Porter and Jackson Porter; and her siblings, Darlene Romsos (Dale), Dennis Ashley (Cis) and Ron Ashley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Skinner Funeral Home - Lansing Chapel (101 W Jolly Rd, Lansing, MI 48910). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
