She was predeceased by: her parents, George Riley and Bertha Riley (Gable); her sisters, Gloria Gruber and Sandra Little; and her grandson Arthur "Artie" Bonene.

She is survived by: her children, Bobby Bonene (Carmenza), Brenner Bonene (Patty), Gigi Schmitt (Mike), Adrienne Spears (Steve), Deidre Andrews (Troy) and Marie Gunderman (Ken); and her sister Shirley.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Delta Chapel (6301 W St Joseph St, Lansing, MI 48917). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (2520 W Willow Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917).
