It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Robert VerStrate of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Polhamus; his stepmother Jesse; and his sisters, Sharon Leatherwood and Diane Tilma. He is survived by: his children, Magan Eikenberry (Jason), Heather Hue (Alex), Alaina Kreger and Ian VerStrate; his stepchildren, Katie Reed (Brad) and Jordan Smith (Brittany Gray); his grandchildren, Kierien Perales, David Hornstra, Kyleana Perales, Hailey Hue and Henzie Hue; and his great grandchildren, Ares, Emersyn, Makhari and Za'Man. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
