She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maria Escobedo Sr. (Costilla) and Francisco Escobedo Sr.; her brother Francisco Escobedo Jr.; her niece Josephina Betancourt; her children, Angelica Gonzales and Placido Sauceda III; her grandchildren, Victoria, Andrew, Leila, Placido "Papi" Sauceda IV, Destina and Estevon; and her siblings, Velia Brown (Chance), Raul Escobedo, Rolando Escobedo (Lina), Ernesto Escobedo, Jose Escobedo (Helen) and Fernando Escobedo. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
