It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Castilla of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Feliciana Castilla and Rodolpho Castilla; and her sister Petra Denney (Vern). She is survived by: her children, John Urdiales (Sandra Troller-Urdiales) and Maria Urdiales (Cindy); her grandchildren, Wesley Doerr, Amy Doerr, Angel Veasley (Reginald), Ashly Romero (Stephen), Richard Urdiales, Elizabeth Wandell and Robert Kuziak (Kailei); and her siblings, Rosa Martinez, Sophia Mata, Josie Gomez (Paulito), Laurentina Vazquez, Elva Reyes (Rudy), Grace James (Jesse), Eva Cisneros (Juan), Michelle Castilla, Brenda Hardy (Robert), Randy Castilla (Francis), Raul Castilla (Delfina), Rodolpho Castilla Ricardo (Cindy) and Rojelio Castilla. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
