It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcia Jean Cook of Lansing, Michigan, born in Pewamo, Michigan, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neville Davarn and Freda Davarn (Kropf); her husband James "Jim" Cook; her brothers, Jack Davarn and Bill Davarn; her sister-in-law Bertha Davarn; and her son-in-law Doug Ferris.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Buysse (Bruce), Beth Cook, James Cook, Carol Farrell (Mike) and Dan Cook (Diana); her grandchildren, Sam Nakfoor, Rori Bowers, Chasity Fudella, April Holman, Trinity Farrell, Sarah Gray, Joshua Buysse, Emily Buysse, Maggie Farrell-Poshedly and Anna Parker; and her siblings-in-law, Rosemary Davarn, Jenny Trier, Barb Cook and Leon Cook (Jeanne). She is also survived by 20 Great-Grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Greater Lansing Food Bank, St. Mary Cathedral, or Sparrow Hospice in memory of Jean.
