It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Rodea of Lansing, Michigan, born in San Juan, Texas, who passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eduardo Guzman and Avelina Martinez; her husband Gonzalo; her brothers, Johnny and Eduardo; her son Gonzalo Jr.; and her grandson Gonzalo D. Rodea.
She is survived by: her children, Fernando (Patty), Silvia, Nilda (Rob), Enriqueta, Avelina, Lydia Ann and Jaime (Amber); and her brother Gino. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, while following Governor's orders of only allowing 50 people maximum in attendance with social distancing and mask wearing.
