He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Hilliard and Mary Hilliard (Jones); and his sisters, Brenda, Pat, Louise, Barbara and Edna.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Hilliard; his daughters, Joyce Days, Angela Gilpin (Daniel) and Sheila Monroe (Nick); his grandchildren, Sheena Smith (Orion), Shaina Days, James Days, Jessica Farhat (Gregory), Leesa Ziegler, Daniel Gilpin (Kelly), Shane Monroe and Briana Monroe; his great grandchildren, Lucian Smith, Jonathan Ziegler, Anthony Ziegler, Luna Young, Xander Young, Olivia Martin, Sean Martin, Kytalynn Gilpin, Aryonna Gilpin and Henry Gilpin; and his sister Frances Gann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Those planning on gathering at the funeral home are asked to wear a mask and observe the proper social distancing guidelines.
