With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucia O Gonzales of Lansing, Michigan, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on June 29, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jose Gomez and Cecilia Gomez; her brother Rocky; and her daughter Theresa. She is survived by : her spouse Rojelio "Rocky" Gonzales; her daughters, Alice Ellis (Mike), Gloria, Rebecca Sims (Carl), Linda (Freeman), Pamela and Laura Gonzales; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Villegas (Domingo) and Ruth Mae Gomez (George). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, July 8th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Gorsline-Runciman Tiffany Chapel (3232 W Saginaw St, Lansing, MI 48917). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (219 Seymour Ave, Lansing, MI 48933).
