He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Minter and Lucille Minter; his mother-in-law Dorothy Jean Hall; and his stepson Sunday L. Thurman, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Thurman-Pryor; his daughters, LaTasha Wilks, LaToya Wilks and Lonnieka Varnes; and his grandchild Anasia of Washington. He is also survived by three stepdaughters and ten step-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
