She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Naydia Rexford and Lionel Carlisle Rexford; her husband Vernon Thomas Peterson (Pete); her siblings, Janette Rexford and Bill Rexford; her daughters, Angenette Stebbins (John) and Melissa Peterson; her grandchildren, Jamie Martin (Graham), Molly Stebbins and Peter Stebbins; and her great grandchild Oliver Francis Martin.
