She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce McGeorge and Dorothy McGeorge; and her sister Kathleen Verdon. She is survived by: her husband Lee Deatrick; her children, Seth VanHoven (Erika), Erin Root (Daniel) and Elizabeth Deatrick (Christi); and her granddaughters, Savannah VanHoven and Abigail Root.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leslie's name to the Hospice House of Mid-Michigan or the Capital Area Humane Society.
