It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leocadia Salazar (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on March 6, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Mata and Maria Mata (Morales); her husband Mario Salazar Sr.; her son Mario Salazar Jr.; and her grandson Joseph Angelo Benavides Jr..
She is survived by: her brothers, Edward Mata Sr. and Ramon Mata; her daughters, Josey Olivo, Rachel Salazar and Susan; her grandchildren, Joseph Olivo, Cory Olivo (Amanda), Brandon Salazar, Victoria Salazar and Daniel Benavides; and her great grandchild Allison Stulz-Salazar. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
