It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Staton of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Staton and Florence Staton (Manska). He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Swieter of Lake View, IA; his great grandchild Brynlee Rae; his daughter Valerie Hartman (Mark) of Merrill, IA; his grandchildren, Makenzie Thomsen (Robbie) of Thurson, NE, Joshua Drost of Sioux Falls, SD and Addison Hartman of Merrill, IA; his great grandchild Brynlee Thomsen; and his sisters, JoAnn Vauble of Sac City, IA and Marilyn Mentzer of Early, IA. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
