He is survived by: his wife Rose Ann (Liechti); his daughters, Julie Doyle Smith of Suttons Bay, Joni Thompson (Dale) of Saginaw and Shannon Doyle of Lansing; his stepdaughter Dawn Faverman (Dave) of East Lansing; his granddaughters, Caitlyn and Jordan; his sister Dorothy Maciag of Pinckney; his close friend Richard Kennedy of Stockbridge; and his pet Aiden.
