She was predeceased by: her mother Bonnie Riggs. She is survived by: her father Richard Riggs; her boyfriend Daryl; her siblings, Jeannette (Donald Sulcer), Sonya Riggs, Julie Riggs and Scott; her children, Bradley and Emily; and her granddaughter Alicia.

Memorial Contributions in Laura's honor may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
