He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herson and Mary Herson; his wife Helen Ochs; and his siblings, Ronald, Gordon, Dolores and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Medrano (Frank) and Sharon; his grandchildren, Patrick (Misty), Jessica (Ben), Sierra (Zach), Brandon and Mark; his great grandchildren, Haylie, Waylon, Ellen and Madison; and his brothers, Doug (Char) and Jerry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to the Mid-County Rescue Squad in Stephenson, Michigan.
