He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Duncan and Elizabeth Mae Ridge (Butler); his wife Patty Ridge; his granddaughter Jenae Ridge; and his siblings, Roscoe David Ridge (Clare) and Geraldine Christie (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Ridge (Yvonne) of Charlotte, Daniel (Debra Olney-Ridge) of East Lansing and Diane Smith (Shawn) of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Duane "DJ" McGill, Jr., Eric McGill (Morene), Shalyne Harris (Sean), Hailee Ridge, Michael Zamora, Karis Mayer (Josh), Mason Ridge, Matthew Ridge, Samantha Frizzle (Matt), Alexa Smith and Zachary Smith; and his brother Dennis Ridge (Karen). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
