She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Richard Griffin and Grace Griffin; and her close friend Lena Ruiz. She is survived by: her husband Jose Ruiz; her children, Courtney, Brooke, Jose II, Kristofer and Antonio; her grandchildren, A'Maya, Isaiah, Da'Vion, Ricco Jr., Xavier, Jose III, Chino, Rodney Jr., Giovanni, Mahlani, Liam and Carlito; and her brother Richard Griffin Jr..
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Paradise Funeral Chapel (1107 E Miller Rd, Lansing, MI 48911). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
