It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Marie McGowan in Lansing, Michigan, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on June 20, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Genick; her mother Daisy Coll; and her sister Robin Muns. She is survived by: her children, Heidi McGowan (Shaun Turgeon) and Corey McGowan (Sonia); her grandsons, Gavin, Garrett, Corey and Caleb McGowan; her father Kenneth Coll; her siblings, William Spencer, Freddy Gallup and Linda Griswald (Butch); her brother-in-law James Muns; and her niece Amanda (Jim).
