It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Johnson of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Versey; his grandsons, Monta, Kimani and Kemar; his cousin Art (Victoria); his sister-in-law Vanessa; his children, Cecilee, Tiffanee and Joseph; his stepchildren, Monta, Claudia (Anthony) and Deon (Tara); his sister Barbara; his niece Regina; the mother of his children Gainell; his parents, Ruth and Rev. Willie J. (Enotris); and also Harold. He was also cherished by his grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

To mitigate the spread of COVID, Joseph will not have a funeral.
