He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Gallihugh and Frances Gallihugh; his brother-in-law William Stringer; and his siblings, Raymond Gallihugh (Mary Ann) and Carla Stringer.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Gallihugh; his children, Michael Gallihugh (Margaret), Matthew Gallihugh, Christine Thelen (Robert) and Jeanette Gallihugh; and his grandchildren, Michelle Kalchik (Kevin), Andrew Gallihugh, Kenneth Gallihugh, Tracy Ramirez (Luis), Adam Thelen (Sarah) and Hannah Thelen.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A rosary was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home Delta Chapel (6301 W St Joseph St, Lansing, MI 48917). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Gerard Catholic Church (4437 W Willow Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Battle Creek Memorial Park Cemetery (2435 W Territorial Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49015).
