He was predeceased by: his father Wendell Ripley. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Ripley of Lansing; his children, Paula Shaw (Scott) of Plymouth, Wendy Schafer (Justin) of Holt and Jordan Ripley of Lansing; his grandchildren, Liam Shaw, Alanna Shaw, Oliver Schafer and Hawthorne Schafer; and his siblings, Kay Ekye-Addai (Kwadwo), JoAnne Bock, Jim Ripley, Bob Ripley (Stacey) and Sarah Ripley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
