It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Opdyke (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Opdyke and Leota Opdyke (Tucker); his sister Gay Chesley; and his mother-in-law Irene Hiatt. He is survived by: his wife Kathie Opdyke; his children, Jon Hanson, Austin Opdyke and Ryan Opdyke; and his grandchildren, Rhett Hanson, Elijah Taylor, Ashton Taylor, Jordyn Matthews and Alexis Ballentine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
