He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schoonmaker and Doris Schoonmaker; his siblings, Roger Schoonmaker and Ann Schoonmaker; and his sister-in-law Janice Schoonmaker.
He is survived by: his wife Ewa Schoonmaker; his son Adam Schoonmaker; his brother Dan Schoonmaker; and his niece Nancy Schimmelman (Mark).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Skinner Funeral Home - Lansing Chapel (101 W Jolly Rd, Lansing, MI 48910). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
