It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Romel of Lansing, Michigan, born in Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Delbert Romel; his sister Terri; and his stepfather James Rau. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Romel; his siblings, Mary of Denver, CO and Paul (Shari) of Pensacola, FL; his stepsister Kathleen Miner (David); his nephew Jason Romel; his niece Jordan Eaton (Randy); and his great-nieces, Kamdyn Romel, Tessa, Border Collie and Kitt.
