He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Hungerford and Evelyn J. Hungerford (Facer); and his siblings, Charles John Hungerford, Lucille Evelyn Walker and Diane Marie Barnes.

He is survived by: his sister Judy McKenzie (Doug); and his brother-in-law Roy Walker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
