He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irving Klein and Helen Klein; his wife Dianna Klein; his children, Ellen Klein-McGinley (Jim), Jeffrey Klein (Sherri) and Michael Klein (Pamela); his stepchildren, Yvonne Johnson (Michael) and W. Scott Hempsted; his grandchildren, Brady Klein, Macy Klein and Grant Johnson; his nieces, Andrea Lowe and Ilene Riffle; and his former wife Sandy Klein.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the VFW in memory of Joel Klein.
