“He was a legend in his own time! My students at Genesee Elementary school enjoyed numerous, awesome field trips, thanks to Bob and the Northside Athletic and Recreational Club. I can remember Saturdays when we left at 6 a.m. for Chicago, spent the day at the Shedd Aquarium and the Museum of Science and Industry, and arrived back in Lansing by midnight. My students paid $4 each for that unforgettable experience and Bob made it all possible! He truly made a difference in the lives of so many!!”
