James Harwood Staples Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2024, at the age of 90, James Harwood Staples of Lansing, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Jay and Lillian Madeline Staples (Hennessey); his wife Maureen Emily Metcalf; his daughter-in-law Laura Staples; and his brothers, William Jay and Glenn Edward Staples.
He is survived by: his children, Marion F. Staples of Lansing, James J. Staples of New Hudson and William J. Staples (Patricia) of Houghton; his sister-in-law Geri Staples of Florida; and his nephew Richard Staples (Vickie) of DeWitt. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
