He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene E. Bensinger and Gwendolyn L. Bensinger (Green); and his siblings, Barbara Oberlin of Greenville and Lee Bensinger of Topeka, KS.. He is survived by: his daughter Jenna Bensinger of Roseville; and his siblings, Mary Haight of Greenville and Eugene K. "Skip" Bensinger (Jan) of Stevenson Ranch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
