James Edwin DeWitt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edwin DeWitt (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luia DeWitt and Roberta DeWitt (Tate); his sisters, Cheryl DeWitt and Carolyn DeWitt; and his granddaughter Chasity King.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa DeWitt; his children, James C. DeWitt (Keri), Stacy Boettner (William), LouAnn Wilson-DeWitt, Laura Lenski (Norm), Leslie DeWitt, Lacie Shannon-DeWitt (Joe) and Justin Smith (Molly); and his grandchildren, Lucas, Lolah, Dustin King, Robert Thocker III (Monica), Zakary Thocker (Carly), Kaleiana Boettner, Liz Bushre, Jaycee Wilson, Chase Lenski (Jazmyne), McKenzie, Buddy, Landon, Emma, Liam, Presdyn, Jackson and Ellie. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends.
