With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James B. Collinson of Lansing, Michigan, born in Toronto, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James B. left this world on July 7, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Gibson and Agatha Katherine; and his siblings, Ameila Ann Collinson, Patricia Joan McDermott, Henry Donald Collinson and Thomas John Collinson.

He is survived by : his wife Marcella Jane (Johnson); his children, David Collinson, Valerie Kniffen (Dale), Andrea Hall (Eric), Denine Collinson, Todd Collinson (Rebecca) and Marcyanne Repichowski (Steve); his grandchildren, Derek Kniffen, Devin Nash, Curtis Kniffen, Cody Nash-Kniffen (Heidi), Alicia Nash, Mitchell Hall (Kaitlin), Tyler Collinson, Tori Martin-Green (Aaron), Michael Collinson, Joel Collinson, Kelsey Hall, Jessica Collinson and Brenden Watters; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Kyson, Rowan Nash-Kniffen, Jonah, Micah Hall and Blakely Martin-Green.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel (325 W Washtenaw St, Lansing, MI 48933). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (102 W Randolph St, Lansing, MI 48906).
