He is survived by: his wife Connie Kranich; his children, Douglas Kranich (Debbie), Sylvia Locher (Uwe) and Lois Griffith (Robert); and his son-in-law Steve Vanciel.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the South Church (5250 Cornerstone Dr, Lansing, MI 48917).
