She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Spencer and Marie Spencer; her brothers, Ted, Vernon Jr., Maurice and Allison (Doc); and her sisters-in-law, Pearl and Patricia.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Curtis (Eric), Bonnie Kleis (Phil) and Jeffrey Lund (Ruth); her grandchildren, Andrew Hicks, Jeremy Hicks (Eva), Lisa Hoenisch (David), Dustin Lund (Marlana), Christy Lund, Amanda (Aaron) and Sarah Kleis; her great grandchildren, Ayla Hicks, Jerome, Holly Hoenisch, Cameryn, Owen Lund, Adelyn, Michaela, Cara, Lena and Elsie Harris; her brother Devere "Bug" Spencer; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Spencer, Connie Spencer and Sandra Spencer.
In lieu of flowers, Ila has asked that people donate in her memory to Jeremy's work and efforts in Indonesia.
