He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elston and Hilda Elston (Getter); and his brothers, Douglas Elston Sr., Jerry Wayne and Bruce Elston.
He is survived by: his fiancée Christine Burgess; his children, Andrew Elston and Alicia Elston; and his sisters, Brenda Elston, Linda Brininstool and Janice Place. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
