He is survived by: his wife LeeAnn Cater; his children, Jeff Cater, Anita Moss, Debbie Keiffer (Scott), Dennis Cater, Gary Cater (Kristie), Robert Blatt, Stacey Beard (Curtis) and Danielle Charon; and his siblings, Delbert Cater, Garry Cater (Mary) and Rita Gustafson (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
