She was predeceased by: her parents, Abdullah Saoud and Wadia Saoud; her husband Jim Rashid of Lansing, Michigan.; and her siblings, Michel Saoud, Jamil Saoud, Suheil Saoud, Dalal Zeidan and Adele Kafrouni.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Rashid, Joe Rashid (Joanna), Michelle Gillison, Jeff Rashid (Debbie) and Jerry Rashid (Rosaline); her grandchildren, Etta Rashid, Nola Rashid, Albert Gillison (Rachel), Alysha DeMay (Shawn), Brittany Rashid, Brian Rashid, Michelle Rashid and Jimmy Rashid; and her great grandchildren, Becca, Lincoln Gillison, Patrick, Max and Charlie DeMay.
