She was predeceased by: her parents, Isiah Gray and Ethel Gray; her husband Ira, Sr. of Washington; her siblings, June Butler, Barbara Jean Smith, Helen Johnson, Judy Gray and Orby Gray; her daughters, Phyllis of Washington, Ethel Owens and Margaret Bernice Jones; and her grandchild Dion Hicks.
She is survived by: her brothers, Charles Gray (Kathy), Jerry Gray (Jeanette) and Ronnie Gray; her children, Danny of Washington, Ira, Jr. (Shirley) of Washington, Gregory (Nicole) of Washington, Michael Steele and Dorothy of Washington; her son-in-law Jonathan "Joe" Owens; and her goddaughter Sandra Chapman-Williams. She is also survived by Seventeen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
