He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Makhoul and Helen Makhoul (Gamel); and his wife Sobhia Mackoul. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Marie), John (Helen), Walid (Rima) and Lamia Murphy (Eric); and his brothers, Chawki, Salim (Cheryl) and Bassam Makhoul (Sabah). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
Private family services will be held due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, First Presbyterian Church Education Fund Lansing First Presbyterian Church, or the Alzheimers Association Alzheimers Association in memory of Georges.
