He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Toomey and Vivian Toomey. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Toomey; his children, David Toomey (Carolyn), Dianna Toomey and Craig Toomey; his grandchildren, IV Beaton and Brigitte Wilks (Skylar); and his brother Edward Toomey.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emanuel First Lutheran Church (1001 N Capitol Ave, Lansing, MI 48906).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gary's memory may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1001 N Capitol Ave., Lansing, MI 48906 or directly to Gary's wife, Marlene.
