He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley Stinedurf Hawks; his children, Michael Dale Hawks (Orlene Hawks) and Cheryl Jensen (Asbjorn "Sam" Jensen); his parents, Earl Dale Hawks and Lucy May Hawks; and his sisters, Virginia and Shirley. He was also cherished by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
